The MIPS tool created by the AAD include an outline of eligibility and financial requirements in a step-by-step format. The steps include:
#1 MIPS Financial Assessment: Determine whether your practice will have to participate in MIPS to avoid penalties in 2019.
#2 MIPS Reporting – Decision Support: Assess how to participate in MIPS this year, including options for what and how much needs to be reported.
#3 DataDerm – Decision Support: This tool provides DataDerm-specific reporting options, for those practices choosing to report using DataDerm, which is the AAD’s clinical data registry.
#4 Quality Measures Selection: Find eligible measures based on which method your practice chooses to report.
Find more MIPS guidance on the AAD’s website.
