Academy members open voting for '06 officers, directors

Members of the American Academy of Dermatology and the AAD Association began voting online Sunday for 2006 officers and directors.

Members may vote via the Internet or by traditional paper ballots. Internet voting for all members and paper balloting for U.S. members will continue through March 17. Paper ballots will be accepted from international members through April 1.

On-site voting at the annual meeting will continue through 1 p.m. Tuesday. Information about the candidates is available at convention center information desks and also at the polling area in Lobby G.

Candidates for 2006 president-elect are Allan S. Wirtzer, M.D., and Diane R. Baker, M.D.
