Acne Tx Developments

Las Vegas - All it took was a little well-directed curiosity to lead Brian Zelickson, M.D., to possibly a kinder, gentler technique of photodynamic therapy (PDT). He recently finished what he describes as a quick study, where he examined innovative uses of intense pulsed light and lasers in the treatment of acne and actinic keratosis. The study originated as a means to discover a less painful laser treatment. It was further spurred by the successful findings by doctors Mitch Goldman, Mark Nestor, and Michael Gold, which suggested alternate light sources could be beneficial beyond their original specifications.
