Phoenix - The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) presented Neil Sadick, M.D., with the Excellence in Education Award for his "significant commitment time and energy to teach dermatologic surgery and promote the advancement of the specialty," according to Robert Weiss, M.D., president of ASDS.

The award is given to ASDS members who have demonstrated their commitment to the association by having continuously served as annual meeting faculty during the past decade, according to a press release.
Dr. Sadick is author, or co-author, of more than 500 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has contributed more than 75 chapters of medical books. He received the awarding during the ASDS meeting at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa.
