RAD will join MJH's multichannel model, enhancing its educational impact in atopic dermatitis, alopecia areata, vitiligo, and eczema.
Dermatology Times' parent company, MJH Life Sciences, has announced the acquisition of the Revolutionizing Atopic Dermatitis (RAD) Annual Meeting, an event with a focus on continuing medical education (CME) in dermatology, particularly in the areas of atopic dermatitis, vitiligo, eczema, and alopecia areata.
MJH Life Sciences, which offers education and media for various health care fields, has expanded rapidly since its founding. This acquisition aligns with MJH’s focus on delivering accessible, up-to-date clinical education across multiple formats.
For 6 years, the RAD meeting has aimed to advance clinical knowledge and practice standards for dermatologists and allied professionals. Since 2019, RAD has hosted an annual CME meeting featuring multiple days of atopic dermatitis and immunological disease education, late-breaking research, and innovative expert insights.
In recent years, the mid-year, in-person meeting has also been accompanied by an end-of-year virtual meeting featuring perspectives from expert speakers on-demand.
This year, RAD joined forces with Revolutionizing Vitiligo (ReV) and Revolutionizing Alopecia Areata (RAA) in one cohesive summer meeting known as as RAVE (Revolutionizing Alopecia Areata, Vitiligo, and Eczema). The meeting, held June 8-10, in Chicago, Illinois, featured insightful sessions centered around relevant topics like transformations in topical treatment, addressing atopic dermatitis-related comorbidities, biomarkers associated with itch, and key developments to watch.
Dermatology Times has been a proud partner of RAD since its early days, providing on-site and virtual coverage for its numerous meetings in recent years.
This past year, Dermatology Times provided on-site coverage of the multidisciplinary RAVE conference.

As part of this acquisition, RAD will join the Physicians' Education Resource (PER) portfolio, a longstanding MJH property. This move will support RAD’s mission by tapping into MJH’s wide-ranging media and digital resources, including support from Dermatology Times and our sister publication, HCPLive.
Given MJH’s multichannel approach, which includes live conferences, digital media, and print publications, the integration may offer attendees more ways to engage with content year-round.
For dermatologists and other health care professionals, MJH’s expansion could mean increased access to structured, CME-certified content on challenging conditions like atopic dermatitis.
Visit the RAD website for more information, including updates on RAD's Mid-Year Virtual Update set to take place on December 8, 2024.
