We sit down in a video interview with David Pariser, MD, FACP, FAAD, the secretary and founding member of the International Hyperhidrosis Society to discuss hyperhidrosis identifiers and treatments in honor of Hyperhidrosis Awareness Month.

Hyperhidrosis is a condition in which a patient may sweat 4 or 5 times the amount than is necessary causing embarrassment, anxiety, and other health conditions, according to the International Hyperhidrosis Society (IHHS).

For the November 2021 Hyperhidrosis Awareness Month, David Pariser, MD, FACP, FAAD, who is an active dermatologist and a founding board member of the IHHS and also a professor in the Department of Dermatology at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, where he is also the senior physician with Pariser Dermatology Specialists, Ltd, discusses the condition.
