Once engaging sessions have wrapped up at the end of the day at the 2023 Fall Clinical Dermatology Conference for PAs and NPs in Orlando, Florida, there is no shortage of theme parks to visit and nature to explore. Whether it’s your first time visiting Orlando or you’re a seasoned traveler, below are a few adventures to check out before you leave.

1. Disney World

While it may be the obvious choice, Disney World is full of rides, shows, restaurants, shopping, and more. Visitors can choose from Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Magic Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios, and can easily jump from park to park. Magic Kingdom is known for its fairytale rides and characters, while Epcot may be for those looking to try different cuisines from around the world.

2. Brevard Zoo

Located 1 hour outside of Orlando, the Brevard Zoo is the only zoo in the country with guided kayak tours around an animal exhibit. Visitors can choose from a guided kayaking tour through Expedition African or go off on their own trip in Wild Florida. Kayakers may see a giraffe, ostrich, impala, ring-tailed lemur, grevy’s zebra, marabou stork, klipspringer, or a white rhino.

3. DOMU

DOMU restaurant was picked as one of the best restaurants in Orlando in 2023 by the Miami Eater. The popular restaurant opened in 2016 and is known for its house-made noodles, creative small plates, and seasonal cocktails. The menu features unique twists on classic ramen dishes, as well as kimchi chicken wings and rotating weekly ice cream flavors. Stop by Orlando’s East End Market for a taste of DOMU’s Japanese-inspired cuisine.

4. Universal Orlando Resort

For many, Universal Orlando Resort is a must-see theme park for an immersive experience in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the Islands of Adventure. For those a little more daring, Volcano Bay has no shortage of thrilling water rides. When it’s time to take a break from rides, theme park guests can visit numerous themed restaurants or relax indoors at a show.

5. Lake Eola Park

Lake Eola Park is located in the heart of downtown Orlando and features rentable swan-shaped paddle boats, bird watching, live concerts, local restaurants, plays in the Walt Disney Amphitheater, and even weekly farmers markets. For Fall Clinical attendees, the next farmers market is this Saturday, June 11th from 10am-3pm ET.
