Platinum Dermatology Partners: After Merge, Platinum And West Rebrand

Following the completion of their merger in June of 2022, Platinum Dermatology Partners and West Dermatology have announced¹ the completion of a unified post-integration rebranding, with the company now unified under the name Platinum Dermatology Partners.

According to a press release¹ from Platinum Dermatology Partners, the rebranding “unites the company under the Platinum Dermatology Partners name with a single purpose and culture and positions the organization for continued growth on a larger scale.” The rebranding includes the launch of a new logo, color palette, and purpose aimed at empowering providers to engage in quality dermatologic care with patients at the forefront.

Physician Tony Petelin, MD, is a board member of Platinum. Of the rebranding, Petelin said, “Our new visual identity strongly represents the momentum of our combined, connected organization and signals our commitment to deliver a consistently exceptional experience for our physician partners and the patients that trust them with their care.”

Platinum Dermatology Partners will act as the physician-facing company name, and West Dermatology will continue to act as a patient-facing brand serving several communities in the state of California.

“Platinum and its practice leaders are fully aligned in our determination to be recognized as true leaders in the practice and pioneering research of dermatology,” said Mitchel Goldman, MD, in the press release. Goldman is a Platinum physician and the founder of Cosmetic Laser Dermatology.

“Having been with the company for some time now, I am incredibly excited for this new chapter under a unified name and culture,” Goldman said. “Our physician-centric platform will become the clear pacesetter and thought leader for reimagining exceptional skin care and skin health in our communities.”
