Pointers with Dr Portela: Sugaring for Hair Removal

In this week’s Pointers with Dr Portela, the 208SkinDoc undergoes sugaring for hair removal.

Dustin Portela, DO, a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon at Treasure Valley Dermatology in Boise, Idaho, explains sugaring for hair removal. It is a treatment where warm sugar instead of wax is applied to the skin and then stripped. He tells his audience whether or not he approves of this type of hair removal.

Opinions expressed are that of Portela and do not express the views or opinions of Dermatology Times®.
