Q&A: Mona Shahriari, MD, FAAD, Talks Multidisciplinary Care

Dermatology Times recently ran a poll asking which specialties physicians have referred patients to in order to ensure they receive multidisciplinary care, and the resounding answer was rheumatology.¹ Mona Shahriari, MD, FAAD, shared her pearls on the subject, including collaborative care, early intervention, and telemedicine in a Q&A interview with Dermatology Times.

Shahriari is an assistant clinical professor of dermatology at the Yale University School of Medicine, the associate director of clinical trials at CCD Research, and a Dermatology Times Editorial Advisory Board member. She also serves her local dermatology community as president of the Connecticut Society of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery.
