Silicone sheet technology has been clinically proven to improve the appearance of scars significantly and has been used by physicians for years, according to Pfizer who is displaying its Neosporin Scar Sheets here at the 63rd Annual Meeting.

Neosporin Scar Solution uses a patented Silicon technology believed to mimic the natural barrier function of normal, healthy skin. When used for a full 12 weeks, the sheets help to minimize the formation of both keloids and hypertrophic scars, the company says. Each package contains 28 silicone sheets, the only product that supplies the recommended 12-week supply in one package, the company says.
