Study Outlines Common Skin Conditions Among Refugees

On this World Refugee Day, we delve into a study published this year outlining skin conditions among more than 500 refugees resettling in the United States.

More than 203,000 refugees have resettled in the United States since 2016 and that number is expected to rise in the coming years.1 A study published earlier this year evaluated common dermatologic conditions among refugees and whether there is any correlation between demographic data such as country of origin, age, tobacco use, and more among adults.2
