Inventor of the first handheld dermatoscope in 1989 (HEINE DELTA 10), the company is celebrating 30 years by introducing these two new products in the United States that include an enhanced achromatic optical system for pristine images, according to a press release.
Along with the optical system, the dermatoscopes include three degrees of luminous intensity and a more convenient way to switch between non-polarized and polarized illumination. The devices are also equipped with high-quality color rendering powered by HEINE LEDs and autoclavable contact plates with scales.
The new DELTA 30 is equipped with a sizable field of view at 30mm, yet is lightweight and easy to handle, while the DELTAone can be described as a more compact version with a field of view of 21mm and designed to fit into pockets, according to the company.
Also, the HEINE DERM app and the iPhone 6 or newer can be used in conjunction with the dermatoscopes to archive images, create new patient files and save consecutive progress documentation.
