What is normalcy? This summer, physicians and practices were finding a semblance of familiarity back in day-to-day operations, with the rise in people vaccinated making it possible for many states to remove masking mandates and lift some of the heavier COVID-19 restrictions.
Then along came the Delta and Lambda variants.
Many are left asking difficult questions regarding vaccination status, booster shots, and what the future of the pandemic holds. For now, normalcy looks like wearing masks to keep immunocompromised people safe, urging the unvaccinated to get vaccinated, and continuing to input exhaustive safety and cleaning measures in the practice.
