The conference aimed at providing physician assistants with the latest in dermatology advancements begins today in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Attendees are gearing up for the 2024 Fall Society Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA) Annual Fall Dermatology Conference, which begins today in Las Vegas, Nevada, and ends Sunday, November 17. With the 22nd annual meeting, dermatology physician assistants from across the country will gather for networking, collaboration, and engaging sessions representing a variety of dermatological conditions, research, and innovation. This year also marks an exciting milestone for the society as it celebrates its 30th anniversary.
The 4-day conference begins with opening remarks from Amber Blair, MMS, PA-C, the SDPA board president. Throughout the day, attendees will hear from Hilary Baldwin, MD; Omar Noor, MD; Gina Mangin, PA-C; Sara Wilchowski, DMSc, MPAS, PA-C, and other experts. Discussion topics include expert acne insights, updates on immunobullous disorders, treatment options for atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis, the role of medical science liaisons, and more.
One of the unique aspects of this year's SDPA Fall meeting is the 3-part experience tract for beginner, intermediate, and advanced physician assistants on various topics. The first experienced-based breakout covers nail disorders 101, increasing dermatologic referrals from the cosmetology field, and becoming a medical science liaison.

Additionally, several product theatres supported by industry partners will provide attendees with updates on topics such as moderate to severe atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis, modern dialogue for patient care, generalized pustular psoriasis, upcoming therapies, and other innovations in dermatology.
Throughout the many sessions, attendees will also have numerous opportunities to engage in networking and explore the exciting offerings of Las Vegas.
